Dr. Kelly Bookman
Dr. Kelly Bookman is Professor and Vice Chair for Operations for the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine as well as Senior Medical Director for Informatics for the UCHealth system.
From a hospital and health system leadership perspective, Dr. Bookman has served as CMO for a number of UCHealth hospitals as well as interim CEO for one of their community facilities and CMO of Revenue Cycle for the UCHealth system.
Dr. Bookman’s operational and informatics expertise reflects years of focus on workflow engineering, change management and leadership skills which was leveraged to support the implementation of AI scribes across UCHealth.
Dr. Jennifer Simpson
Dr. Jennifer Simpson is a vascular neurologist and neurohospitalist at the University of Colorado. She is a Senior Medical Director of Informatics at UCHealth and is the Vice Chair of Quality for the Department of Neurology.
She sits on the Quality Informatics Committee of the American Academy of Neurology and the Epic Adult Neurology Specialty Steering Board. She is very active at UCHealth in quality and informatics committees, including implementation of AI in the EHR throughout the UCHealth system.
